So Kasie Hunt is claiming that Biden's changed filibuster position will have a negative affect! WTF? (Original Post) George II Jan 2022 OP

She was given so many opportunities on MSNBC to further her career and she was just awful. I never understood why she was given a two hour time slot on Sunday nights. I gave her the benefit of the doubt, but it was painful watching her.

She said that if the Filibuster had been Biden's FIRST Priority, he might have gotten it passed in his honeymoon (post 1/6) period.

And that it will be much harder now with his lower approval ratings.

No "dig" here.

Kasie Hunt's 'opinion' is vapid considering this is Biden's 1st year & considering WTF HE WAS HANDED TO FKING FIX IN THE "Honeymoon Phase"

Ya know what Kasie Hunt! Joe Biden didn't have the priviledge of a fking honeymoon phase.

No clue or deliberate diss. Hard to tell which applies here.

Whoosh....

Biden was sending out Stimi cks & child tax credits. Finally someone was addressing Covid like he gave a shit. He told & showed the country "I Hear You!". The lives of millions forgotten by trump were finally churning forward again.
Yes. His approval was high & then he addressed Afghanistan. And pushed for his BIF & BBB and Kasie Hunt sorta skipped right over the rapid fire work Biden was engaged in while seating his Cabinet, and all the while looking at a sliver of a majority to get the next thing passed..... etc.

In which case, he's unlikely to be able to do it now. That's the fundamental point she's making. Not that he SHOULD have done it.

..statement that she lays at Biden's feet while giving a complete pass to the partisan obstructing of his every move.
He still hasn't had the approval of his ambassadors.
Rand Paul is STILL holding back the funding of Iron Dome protections that were approved by a vote.

She makes it sound like it was easy peasy to get this passed, but fails to mention that the exact same obstrutionists that stubbornly sit there today, were all stubbornly sitting there in that endearing 'honeymoon phase', which Biden briefly had. That never changed.

Not a clue or intentional diss? Appears to be both.

I'm done dicussing the simple thoughts of K Hunt.
