Now *that's* a good tease. (TFG hangs up on NPR host... airs tomorrow)

For about six years I've been asking Donald Trump for an interview. It never happened until the former president came on the line today. Tomorrow on @MorningEdition we'll hear what he said, up to the moment that he hung up on me. @NPR

Not gonna lie, I am curious!

That's usually when Now Promoting Republicans does their "please don't take our funding away" Conservative Pol interviews. They probe, but they rarely confront. They ask questions their GQP guests are unable to understand, and give them space to pettifog and evade.

I know that all sounds cynical, but I've argued back at so many of the 20-past-6 AM interviews that I had to stop waking up to NPR. Listening to Republics lie is not how I need to wake up.

TFG's skin is so thin, he probably planned to hang up before he agreed to talk to Inskeep. I guarantee Inskeep won't get through to that narcissist.

not saying it's fake news or anything like that. I just remember when I forever cut ties to NPR and ME when The Defeated Psychopath took office, because Inskeep and the rest of ME just couldn't help themselves but treat the slobfather as if he was to be respected instead of the psychopathic slime ball he was then and still is.

Cokie Roberts woukd come on with Bob Edwards on Monday mornings, praise Republicans for their competence and forthrightness and charm, and then go on to excoriate the democrats for a whole host of nonsensical fabricated (mis)deeds. Sorry, but she really was a snobby, entitled, asshole.

I didn't know it then and looking back I'm not sure why it was a mystery to me that NPR was morphing into Right Wing Radio at least in the mornings. At some point the connection with the Republican Party campaign to defund NPR from federal funding and their continued agenda to turn it into a commercial broadcast so the right wing contributors like Coke Roberts and Pat Buchanan was the trade off.

Later I learned that NPR and CPB were headed by Republicans, and oh guess what? No more threats to defund NPR/PBS.

Still I liked a number of programs like Fresh Air and Michael Krasney's Forum on KQED and so forth so I had my radio dial tuned to that station. On my way to work on Monday mornings though I had to switch it off.

Then the drum beating and run up to invade Iraq on the pretext of WMD's with the Generals of armed forces trotted on air and I was pretty much done. NPR and PBS was pretty dead to me at least in terms of their news broadcasts.

It's been at about 20 years since having my radio dial tuned to KQED.

all of the TRUMP-APPOINTED judges that ruled against him, and even Rudy saying that he had no evidence of fraud. Chump countered by saying "It was early at that point, and we were still gathering up the evidence..."

* Inskeep asked him his own campaign attorney in AZ who said "no fraud", and Chump replies with "he was a terrible lawyer" (THAT YOU HIRED)

* said all of the Republican Senators who are now saying "no fraud" are RINOs

* Mitch McConnell is a "loser"

* concluded the interview by going on a loud, unhinged rant about the rampant fraud/"rigged election", not allowing Inskeep to get a word in edgewise, and quickly saying "thank you" and hanging up!

Multiple times! By Democrats, Republicans, independent officials, the courts and even fraudulent biased allies of TFG! All had the same conclusion! No voter fraud! Biden won! The election was not rigged! But the TFG and the GOP are working overtime to rig the next one! This should be blasted on every editorial page, podcast, comment section and social media over and over again!
