I teach a total of 126 students each day. Today I had 37 absent due to covid

I also had 15 students at different times during the day pulled out for covid testing




My last hour roster of 21 had 7 gone quarantined

These are 11-15 year olds.

Works both ways. All but one of mini's teachers are substitutes. The regulars are out with Covid. unblock Jan 2022 #1

We had 117 calls for subs that we couldn’t find anyone to fill today alone.

5. It's so hard for school age children nowadays

Many of them must be stunted. I feel lucky I was in school in normal circumstances. Teachers also are having a hard time.
