In the tournament why should he not be ranked #1? We don’t have to like someone personally or their politics but denying reality seems silly.

Something makes me think they may be trying to work out a deal where he agrees to leave on his own-

He's won the last 3 Australian Opens and I believe he is currently ranked #1 in men's tennis.
