Inundated on Facebook 😦

I have been inundated by right wing ads on facebook . Six paid ads for various Rethug things. Good thing I am friend with Robert Reich to balance it out.

1. Go an clean out your interests and history files

2. Add the FluffBuster (Facebook Purity) extension to Chrome or whatever your browser is.

Poof. No more annoying crap or ads.

3. Dump your Fascistbook membership.

You don't need to feed the machine that poisons you.

5. You can tag ads as inappropriate or irrelevant to you.

I suggest you do that.

7. Yes. For best results, though, you have to tag all of them as they show up.

It doesn't take too long. Just mark them as irrelevant and FB will eventually understand what you do not want to see and stop showing it to you. I did that regularly about a year ago for about a week, and I see no political ads at all any more in my feed.

But, you do have to do it yourself, and you have to do it consistently.

6. Odd, I have no problem at all with Facebook beyond a couple of friends posting cat pictures

I do curate my feed each time I am on the service. Any Meme is deleted, Any photo of TFG is deleted and any Memory post is deleted.

No problems with anything there.
