There are mega-rich on both sides.

In Fact, a NYT survey from 2020 showed more billionaires supporting Biden than Trump.

Just open up the books... we want to SEE who gives the money and to whom.

It frustrares me no end...get the money out of elections! Period! I want to see publicly- funded elections, and a six month presidential campain period, not a year and a half! Like free airtime on tv and radio for qualified candidates. No, I'm not sure of all the legalities or logistics involved. Smarter people than me can figure those out. I just don't think you should gave to raise half a billion or more to run a campain.

He says it's probably to a small group of Libertarian business people who don't want to pay taxes that will fund programs for the less fortunate.

I'm quoting him pretty much verbatim. He did use the word "probably."
