International rape and domestic rape

Make it sound as if it’s two different things based on the nationality and/or goals of the criminal but it’s not. The crime is the same. It’s rape.

No one would ever use those terms for it.

We shouldn’t use it for terrorism either. There is no domestic or international terrorists. They are all terrorists.

Domestic and international terrorism have key differences in how they can be addressed and by which government entities have jurisdiction. They also have different causes and a number of other key differences.

And that’s the rub.

Go to Twitter and search ‘“Crumbley” and “parents”’, hit any tweet with a nice number of replies. Go to the bottom where the “potentially inappropriate replies” are at and look at the type of people who are expressing outrage that the parents are being charged.

They vote.
