QAnon Followers Believe Donald Trump Used 'Body Double' At Arizona Rally

QAnon followers have whipped each other into a new frenzy, claiming Donald Trump was not at his rally in Arizona on Saturday, but that the person they saw was actually a "body doubly" or even John F. Kennedy in disguise.

During the speech, however, many QAnon followers carefully examined Trump's appearance and leaped to the conclusion that the former president was not at the rally, but was either JFK or a body double.

Newsweek found dozens of accounts across social media platforms Telegram and Twitter that have pushed the baseless claims since Saturday.

Ya see, kids, this is what mental illness looks like.

Instead he just looks disheveled with that huge over coat to cover his increasing girth.

I would not have seen him except for cable constantly showing clips.

When you raise your children to believe that a magical skydaddy in the sky created everything, and that some guy named Noah built a huge ark and put thousands of animals on it. Why is anybody surprised when these children grow into adulthood and believe all this other crazy shit people come up with.

think about what that means. We have to analyze those claims to prove they are baseless. I try to ignore the defeated former president and his zombie followers but he keeps popping up everywhere.

... is not what MAGAts say, so much as why they say it.

Is this how the Trump-humpers seek to distance themselves from a "pResident" they no longer believe in - by claiming the guy who's now talking about being vaxxed-and-boosted is an imposter, because the "real Trump" would never humiliate them by doing a complete 180 on what he told them to believe?

Is this how they convince themselves that this broken, incoherent old man they're now seeing on stage couldn't possibly be the stable genius they voted for?

Is this how they explain away their unquestioning support of "the greatest pResident evah"- by claiming that the obviously-crazed madman showing up at rallies these days isn't who he says he is?

Intelligent people knew from day one that TFG was a lying, self-serving grifter who didn't have the mental capacity to express a coherent thought. The MAGAts are just realizing that fact - so their best defense is to claim that the blithering idiot now-appearing-at-a-rally-near-you is an imposter - undoubtedly being handsomely paid by George Soros, while the real TFG is duct-taped to a chair in the basement of a DC pizza place, watching innocent children being sacrificed by HRC devotees.

The memory of their great leader and what they are seeing and hearing on stage now is quite different. Trump created a monster that he can no longer control. It has taken on a life of its own and it no longer belongs to him.

And where on earth did they think anyone could find someone that looks and sounds like Donald Trump?

This is the underlying danger of these cults, the link between belief and action, any and all action the leaders claim legitimate and/or necessary. The Proud Boys and many insurrectionists are claiming this control link to Trump's desires and declarations. They insist that blind Trumpian loyalty drove the violence on January 6th.

On the surface, this splinter QAnon group--Negative48 led by Michael Protzman--is simply a group a crazies easily duped into believing all manner of madness--dead people resurrected for a cause, a body double at the rally bc the 'real' Trump couldn't possibly support the odious vaccines (or perhaps he's losing his luster in his sagging flesh), the corpse of JFK or his long dead son in attendance at the Arizona rally.

At the start, the larger QAnon membership rejected the ramped-up craziness of Negative48. Now they're embracing the smaller subset, even as the murmurs have turned decidedly dark, discussions about the 'importance' of death, the need to prepare for a mass termination event.

Theirs or ours??

Think about what you're required to set aside to swallow this garbage. The ability to reason, the ability to trust your eyes and ears, the ability to think and act independently, the setting aside of all moral and ethical norms and responsibility. Instead, you move within the group, see within the group, feel within the group. And in the end, act within the group.

Hive mind on steroids.

All the howls about individual freedoms being curtailed and yet this is what they've jumped into willingly, without hesitation.

Yes, this is what genuine madness looks like.
