He exudes decency. Seems like a genuinely good and humble human being who cares about others and what is right.

And he's a constitutional scholar. We need his acumen in these trying times when democracy is at stake.

we are SO lucky to have people like him, Rep. Schiff, and the rest on the Committee that are fighting to save our republic - and THAT is indeed what they are doing - well, at least, TRYING to do.

It is hard to read as there is so much emotion the insurrection intertwined with the loss of his son Tommy. I don’t know how he wrote it. He amazes me.

Haven’t read it but I’ve heard him talking about it in multiple interviews. Let us know what you think when you finish!

We also need him behind the scenes at the same time. Hoping others are take note of his brilliance, demeanor and work ethic.

I feel exactly the same as about him, ProudMNDemocrat. He's wonderful, and I'm thrilled to have him on our side--the side of democracy!

an incredible person. I am always impressed when I see him on a cable news show. Multi-dimensional, he has even co-written productions of “Measure for Measure”and “Henry V.”

And this from WAPO...

In March 2006, testifying at a legislative hearing on a proposed constitutional amendment to prohibit gay marriage, Raskin responded to state Sen. Nancy Jacobs (R), who said the Bible reserved marriage for a man and a woman.

“Senator, when you took your oath of office, you placed your hand on the Bible and swore to uphold the Constitution,” he said. “You didn’t put your hand on the Constitution and swear to uphold the Bible.”
