All of the Trump investigations now have smoking gun evidence.

Documents, e-mails, text messages, hand written notes, recorded phone calls, witnesses. When prosecutors have smoking gun evidence they do not give up and go home. They keep investigating and then they present the smoking gun evidence to a jury.

We have all witnessed the crimes, there is smoking gun evidence that backs up what we witnessed.

The NY investigations, the AG just showed us some of the documents that proves fraud. They are not going to give up. There will be trials.

The Georgia investigation, Trumps recorded phone call to the secretary of state is smoking gun evidence. He broke state election law, he is guilty. That crime will also become part of the investigation into the attempted coup.

We all know the Jan. 6th committee has smoking gun evidence. Documents that prove there was a conspiracy to over turn the election, to over throw the government. The committee will turn all the evidence they have to Garland when they finish up this summer. Nothing can stop the Garland investigation. People will be indicted, there will be trials. Does anybody really believe people like Rudy will not be put on trial?

I know some people believe nothing will come of these investigations. I believe they are wrong. This time things are different, these investigations have taken on a life of their own.

In 2014, Trump announced that he would run for NY governor as a Republican on one condition. The party had to accept him as THE candidate, without any other primary candidates. The Party leaders said, "No way."

I don't think it is going to happen. The only true thing that I can Remember Trump saying is that, “I could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody and wouldn’t lose any voters, okay?” Trump said, mimicking firing a gun with his fingers. “It’s, like, incredible.” It was also inferred that he would escape justice from the courts. After all, he has been running a criminal enterprise all of his adult life and never faced justice.

We better be careful what we wish for. A Trump trial would initiate violence in the country that we have not known since the Civil War. What I wish is that God would send the man a ticket on the River Jordan cruise.

Putting TDFG in prison sends a message. No political figure is above the law. His base may very well erupt in violence. So what, lock them up with him, or as in the past blindfolded with a cigarette against the wall.

As to those involved with this, the supporting cast of misfits, Stone, Bannon etc. After bankruptcy, loss voting rights, firearm possession, banning them from participating in any form of government services as an adviser, staff member or god forbid an elected official.
If they survive prison let them collect social security, participate in our wonderful health care system. They maybe able to pull themselves up by their bootstraps.

There are dozens of national figures vying for his position with the goal of eliminating the ability of the people to govern themselves. Trump is a symptom of a bigger disease. Some of the ones, DeSantis in particular, are more dangerous because they don't come across as a being a painted clown.

That said, I want him gone, if for no other reason, that he is the poster boy for what is wrong with our nation. I am afraid that so many of us have fallen for the big lie, that the only way we will recover will after they have taken over and run things so badly into the ground, that they begin to see the error of their way. It could well be a long, drawn-out and painful solution.

We have not taken good care of our Democracy and it is slipping away from us.

But I bet that when TFG finally goes away, either when he is finally locked up or his dementia becomes incapacitating, that almost all of the Republicans in office will heave a collective sigh of relief, and then do their trick of pretending that the bad thing (i.e., the Trump Years) never happened. Their voters will sputter in confusion for a very short while, and then they, too, will carry on as if Trump never happened.

That's my prediction, anyway.

Now picture him in an orange jumpsuit. Take away his $1000 comb-over and his spray-painted tan. His bluster will start to sound like whining, and his fan-base will evaporate. A few die-hards may stick with him, but for all intents and purposes the Trump Show will be over.

The vast majority of Trump’s supporters see him as an honest man and a successful businessman. If we can PROVE what a piece of shit he is before the trial, they’ll drop him like a hot rock.

This includes a lot of the militia people. They fell in behind Trump because they believed he was a different kind of politician. They “know” all politicians are crooks, and “knew” Trump wasn’t a crooked politician. If he turns out to be the worst crook of all, which is what we suspect…

The secret is making sure these people know Trump was using them in an attempt to escape Justice. Y’see, if Trump would have been able to slicky his way into a second term, the statutes of limitations on all the crimes he committed before 2017 would have expired, and he PROBABLY could have convinced a follow-on Republican administration to declare his actions on 1-6-21 were covered by executive privilege.

However…if his crimes are revealed before he goes on trial for them, any violence will be directed toward Republicans as punishment for allowing that piece of shit to soil the office of the president.

Massive amounts of physical evidence and witness testimony will prove to them the massive conspiracy to persecute their hero. Keep in mind, these are folks who are still sure the election was stolen and that Covid has never been a serious issue. They don't love Trump because he is an apparent business success, they love him because they see Trump as one of them. They love him because he brings grief to their enemies. (you and me)

I recently read another story of a German soldier who served in WWII. He grew up listening to nothing but Nazi propaganda, because the Nazi's controlled the media. His school teachers had to spread the party word, his preachers followed. He accepted that the Jews were the enemy of the people. He was intimidated to join the Hitler Youth and he admits he was a full believer based on that was all that he ever heard. He only begin to doubt when the Thousand Year Reich was in ashes. I don't know why Americans can not see that we are following in the same path. We are just in the early phases.

And even if you do convince them, good luck getting them to admit it.

Anyone paying attention to Pissolini has seen loads of evidence that he is a blatant liar and a hypocrite, a rude crude, and nasty operator. It doesn't bother them. In fact, it's a big part of why they love him.

Rudy appears to be at the Center of the scheme, and I don’t think he has Roger Stone-like loyalty to Trump, and he doesn’t have Trump in power at this point to pardon him.
