Here in Albuquerque gas is around $3 a gallon

we pay extra taxes in BC for gas. It tends to fluctuate up around long weekends, events etc. that is what I don't like. We used to have gas wars with different stations but that doesn't happen any longer.

in my part of Durham, NC.

I grocery shop at Harris Teeter which gives you fuel points that can be used to reduce your cost of gas purchases at their gas stations up to $1.00/gallon. I will need to use my current fuel points before they expire at the end of the month and I'll be filling up with a discount of $.40/gallon.

I drive very little now so I only need a half tank/ month.
