So ... "Vladimir" may mean something like "Ruler of the World" ...

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vladimir_(name)#Etymology

Originally, it meant something like "great ruler", but the spelling shifted.

With half the male population of Russia being named Alexander Vasiliyevich or Vasili Alexandrovich (both derived from ???????? ??????????, King Alexander); or Vladimir, is in any wonder that their thoughts so frequently turn to conquest ?

Because I was wondering what the hell his problem is. Why can’t he just go enjoy life like other people do?

While I was wondering this, there was footage on television of his troops out in the cold, crashing around in the snow. I asked why anyone would order other human beings to be out there in the cold, suffering the misery of war.

Look how many Muslim men are named Mohammad or have that name somewhere in their name; sometimes twice. Some cultures just over uses some baby names. Turn a corner in Russia and run into an Alexander, turn a corner in the Middle East and run into a Mohammad.

Some places need a book of baby names so as to stop naming everyone the same.

If so, then God is a dickhead. So, same thing, right?
