The month of January isn't over but . . .

So far there have been 72 children under the age of 11 killed or injured by guns in America. Expand that to 17 years and under there have been 369. That's 14 a day.

In 2020, the last year full data is available, there were 5141 total. That's also 14 a day.

Gunners will cheer saying, "See, things aren't getting worse!"

What they won't tell you is that the number has steadily climbed since 2014.
2014 = 8 per day
2015 = 9 per day
2016 = 10 per day
2017 = 11 per day
2018 = 10 per day
2019 = 10 per day
2020 = 14 per day
And now for 2022 after only 27 days we are on track to match the worst year since 2013. If I were a betting man I'd bet that we'll finish the year at 15-16 a day.

I don't find that acceptable, how about you? It doesn't have to be this way. Take action: resources.
