If I had said the intensely stupid things he did---if I had told as many transparent provable lies as he did today before news cameras---I would be curled up in a fetal posture sucking my thumb, floored and devastated by shame. But, not the good doctor.

Dr. Ladapo nattered meaningless Palinesque word salad in response to question after rephrased question before the Florida Senate, never once actually answered a question and sauntered away with a smile on his face.

He must be a very strong man or, come to think of it, maybe he's just a shameless whore.

I don't blame the Dems one bit for walking out. He was deliberately and blatantly making a mockery of the whole thing. There was absolutely no reason for them to validate his behavior by continuing to participate. I would have left, too.

I do not understand wtf is wrong with Ron DeSantis. He is deliberately making terrible choices that are getting people killed, and appointing Ladapo Surgeon General is just one of those terrible choices. DeSantis and Greg Abbott are definitely the two worst governors in office right now.
