I hope President Biden selects a candidate who can write notable and persuasive dissents which rival, is not surpass the anticipated majority decisions.

Any Black Female candidate Pres Biden may select will be eminently more qualified than Clarence Thomas, Samuel Alito, Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh, or Amy Coney Barrett.

One factor that increased the fraction of less-qualified Republican nominees is that they were also playing the long game, and deliberately favored younger candidates so that the impact of their stolen nominations would last well into a time when one would expect demographics to push them out of power (short of the kind of fascist coup that seems more likely all the time).
