https://www.nbcnewyork.com/news/local/accused-teenage-bronx-cop-shooter-released-on-bond/3520514/The teenager accused of shooting an NYPD officer in the Bronx earlier this month, while already on probation on another gun charge, has been released from custody on bond.
Camrin Williams, 16, is accused of shooting a cop in the leg during a scuffle on Jan. 18; Officer Kaseem Pennan was treated and released within hours. (Though a minor, NBC New York is naming Williams because he is charged as an adult and the case records are public.)
Williams was arrested on weapons charges at just 14 years old and had been placed on probation on a gun charge just last month.
But court records indicate the teen was released Thursday after posting bond.

If you feel the same level of outrage, at least you're consistent.

Considering the number of young men living a violent lifestyle that eventually get shot themselves, jail may be the best thing for him

(2,971 posts)for them to have done so. The chances of this individual being found to have justifiably shot the officer in question are somewhere south of slim and none.

(11,971 posts)Gets a lucrative recording contract at 16 years old paying him a quarter million, gets arrested for having an illegal gun and was given probation.
Instead of doing everything he can to stay out of any trouble, and making sure he doesn't ruin his record deal, he can't help himself. Gets arrested again (while on probation) with another illegal gun after up shooting a police officer with it. What a moron.
