Medication. Like that looks better than her doping? There should be no Russian athletes competing for anything in any olympics considering they’re from a state who sponsors this activity, and clearly has no plans to stop this practice.
The thing that boils my blood is that all of the skaters unlucky enough to compete against her and win medals, will have to wait to receive the medal until after the IOC has completed their investigation. So no medal ceremony for them at the olympics because of some cheating asshole from another country gets to repeatedly break the rules to give themselves an unfair advantage.

However, the IOC had so many outrageous "treat us like royalty" requests just to discuss the final requirements that Oslo backed out.
Things like clearing roads for their travel from the time to they arrived to the time they left, clearing out the hotel they would be staying at, how long the heated buffets at luncheon could be out before it had to be changed for fresh and hot, additional hotel service concierge duties -
Basically, Bejing was willing to put up with their shit don't stink attitude and flatter their asses until they were smooth and pink. Oslo wasn't.
I'm sure the ROC sub-organization was funded well enough to buy a few more favors.

The IOC is corrupt, but in this case they banned the athlete and appealed her reinstatement by an independent court that rules in stuff like this.

If it were up to the IOC she isn’t in the games.

11. The CAS has authority, not the IOC

The Court of Arbitration for Sports reinstated her. The IOC was fighting to keep her out. CAS is supposed ti be an independent court that rules on this stuff, they are the corrupted ones.

But this will play out over the long haul and the medals the ROC hot in women’s figure skating will be forfeited.
