Wow, I think I detect an enthusiasm gap

(note: I deleted my first post on this topic, after finding the Obama photo. I thought this post better reflected what is happening in these pictures! My apologies for any confusion)

Yes, there is an enthusiasm gap in this Presidential election--and it appears to be with the Romeny campaign. Look at these pictures. The top one was taken today at a Romney campaign event in Ames, Iowa--a swing state. Look at the bottom picture, which was taken in the same city--Ames, Iowa--just a few short weeks ago at an Obama campaign event.

Here is a picture of Romeny's speech today in Ames.

Here is a picture of Obama's campaign speech that he gave in Ames just a few weeks ago.

5. No matter what he says, Mitt Romney doesn't really believe in gun rights for ordinary people

He doesn't not believe in them, either. He doesn't give a shit. He believes in ensuring profits for the wealthy through unconditional tax cuts for the superwealthy, regardless of whether they actually create jobs or not. Probably deep in that dark little chunk of coal he calls a heart, he truly believes unfettered capitalism will create jobs--at least for those worthy of them. But mostly, he doesn't care. Life is a game to people like him and you keep score with money.

2. Scenes like this are why I can't figure out the polls.

A tie? Really? The enthusiam seems to be all on the Obama side, not on Romney's. Something seems to be very wrong with the polling. I seriously think that they're promoting the tie thing because it makes it easier to justify a Romney win. It just doesn't seem to be anywhere close to real.

I would also point out that the US as a whole seems to be far to the left of the oligarchy; it amazes me that you can look around and see scenes like this, that polling from independents show that most women and men believe in things like birth control and legal abortion, and yet the polls from places like Pew don't get the same results.

I just don't understand why everyone accepts the narrative, even when other things should make it questionable.

4. that's what I've been saying....

The Obama crowds, the Obama donations, the lack of Romney ads in swing states don't add up to what the 'polling' is showing. My mom had been a wreck over the polls. I mentioned the above to her and said, the polls are media driven. If Obama was up 30% would anyone turn on the TeeVee and watch the news? What a ratings flop election night would be too.

These polls do not make sense unless... The polls are manipulated to make it look close so Romney et. al. Can steal the election and say... But the polls were with in the margin of error. If the polls showed heavy enthusiasm for Obama they would have a harder time.

10. The racists in the south are very fired up for Romney

Getting an 80% lead in a southern state doesn't get Romney any closer to winning.

But it does make national polls look much better for Romney....which means squat since we don't have national popular vote.

And before a Southern Democrat takes exception, I'm talking about the poll results which show a MASSIVE lead for Romney in the South but nowhere else. Yes, I know you're there fighting the good fight. You're just not done fighting it yet.

I would also point out that the US as a whole seems to be far to the left of the oligarchy

The disaffected don't show up on election day.

So while talking to people would reveal a country far to the left of the powers that be, those "leftists" had been well trained to believe voting was futile.

That's changing, but "likely voter" models aren't.

Look at that! Romney gives his people chairs! Don't see that at outside venues for Obama. That does it. I'm voting for the nice man who gives us old people chairs to sit in. So thoughtful.

7. there is a big difference between the popular vote

And the electoral college vote. I really think Romney has made significant gains in the red states. Which is impacting the polls. But Obama is leading in the swing states which is where it counts. It doesn't really matter if he takes Utah by 20% or by 30%.

The polls don't matter. I posted the crowd pics of Obama's rallies and Romney's rallies. Last week or so ago and here you go.

They are trying to fool us. I have talked to many republicans and they would not trust the republican brand as far as they can spit. When moderate republicans( like my granddad was) get mad they hold a grudge. One that they will take with them to the ballot box. They are just as mad as Democrats. They are between a rock and a hard place. Some of them have known only republicans. They are in their family. They are being threatened on their jobs. they cannot come out and publicly say I want the Black Guy. They must stay undercover until they cast their ballot. And even then they won't say they voted for him. They know they have lost part of their base.Remember they are the 47%.

Referring to Romney telling the crowd about Jeep moving. I think she was exaggerating. I heard the crowd when he spoke and they didn't sound too loud.
