According to 2008 exit polls
People who got their news from......... (rough breakdown)
MSNBC-60% Dem/ 40% GOP
CNN-60% Dem/ 40% GOP
FOX-10% Dem/ 90% GOP
While MSNBC is "credited as a liberal network (personally I have no idea where that comes from), about 40% of its audience identifies with the GOP. In fact if I recall Obama actually got a greater percentage of voters from CNN in 2008 (62%/38%) than he did MSNBC. Ironically, ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN and MSNBC all broke pretty close along the lines of 60/40 in favor of Democrats. FOX news was the real outlier being 90% GOP.
