music promoted his beliefs. His songs opened my eyes to environmental issues.

Have you heard him sing Perhaps Love with Placido Domingo?

I had not heard this particular song you posted but it proves Denver's strong attachment to Mother Earth.

We lost him too soon.

His wish was to bring people together through music and live in harmony to take care of our Earth.
I saw him perform this song live in concert with the video playing in the background. It gave me chills and tears in my eyes. Still does. I really miss him.

And yes, John Denver was an environmentalist, ecologist, human rights crusader before any of that was especially accepted or "cool" for celebrities/musicians. He was vastly underappreciated. I miss him too.

was beautiful - thank you for sharing it. I love the lyrics of his songs. He was so prescient and I am sad that his life was so short.
