Also, the paint doesn't really disable the tank, it simply uses a different targeting system.

2. If everyone in tank column is bottled in due to fear of snipers, much can be done with sugar

... in the gas tank.

If the tankers are all locked in, much can be done by people running up to them from the sides and pouring gasoline into intake vents and snipers can take out emerging soldiers. However tanks like Russian T-90s have filtered air systems and air conditioning. However, I bet the smell of gas would get in.

Paint the periscope and the tankers might open portals. Be ready with gasoline in super-soakers, water pistols, and balloons.

Don't have to actually get gas into the tank. Just have to make the tankers fear that you might have.
