(16,394 posts)It has to be a serial killer from the past like Ted Bundy who has been caught, convicted, and punished, and is preferably no longer living. That way, there is closure and the satisfaction of seeing the bad guy get what he deserves.
That's why watching a movie like that would be a relief right now.
Putin is still on the loose and still killing, on a bigger and bigger scale. Noclosue or relief to be found there.

(111,256 posts)I keep the Kyiv cams on a lot of the time. Last night there was one terrific bang followed by an orange glow far to the east but the sirens only woke people up once overnight. I've been reading the live reporting from the BBC and watching a little Al Jazeera English, the latter not really having a dog in this fight unless some of their oil boys are getting a little gleeful about having a competitor boycotted.
It's a little after 7 AM now. The crows are up, they overslept. I hope it stays this quiet.
