At a private fundraiser with GOP lobbyists, Sen. Sinema mocked Biden and defended election denier Rep. Andy Biggs, according to an upcoming book:

"I love Andy Biggs. I know some people think he’s crazy, but that's just because they don’t know him."

President Biden confessed in private that he didn't understand Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (D-Ariz.), who helped stymie his biggest legislative dreams, New York Times reporters Jonathan Martin and Alexander Burns write in the first major book about the Biden-Harris administration, coming May 3.

Sneak peek: "One person close to the president likened Biden's perplexity at Sinema to his difficulty grasping his grandchildren's use of ... TikTok. He wanted to relate, but he just didn’t quite get it," the authors write in "This Will Not Pass," about the 2020 election and President Biden's first year.

In the spring of 2021, "she became the first-ever lawmaker to argue with White House aides when they asked her to wear a face mask in the company of the president, repeatedly asking why that was necessary when she had been vaccinated."

She also discouraged Biden from coming to Arizona after the president signed the COVID rescue plan in 2021.

funny, maybe YOU need your head examined

This is why it is imperative that we win the Senate by at least a majority of two seats, to make Sinema and Manchin irrelevant

She lied to get into the Senate so she could get richer. And everything has gone according to plan in that regard.

She sure didn't mind wearing a mask back then. Then BAM, after she won that mask came off revealing her true identity.

All her $$ comes from repugs and all her time is spent on repug priorities but she isn't crazy enough for them as a real GQP candidte - they just want to fund her as a torment to Dems until they can get her out of office. She is a horrible person and a turncoat or was just a liar all along.

Good opportunity to try to replace her with a real Democrat.

doesn't give a shit about repping the people of AZ and is more interested in repping lobbyists. Coming out against drug price legislation , which is hugely popular among members of both parties, proves it.

https://theintercept.com/2020/03/17/coronavirus-stimulus-bill-andy-biggs/

ARIZONA REPUBLICAN Rep. Andy Biggs, one of the 40 lawmakers who voted against the coronavirus stimulus bill, said he did so in part because the legislation included paid sick leave benefits for domestic partnerships.

“They’ve redefined family for the first time in a federal — in a piece of federal legislation, to include committed relationships,” Biggs said Monday on a radio program produced by the conservative Christian group Family Research Council. “The problem with that is it’s really hard to define a committed relationship, and it’s really hard to define anything related to that.”

The provision that raised Biggs’s ire, which references “committed relationships,” is a subsection of the paid sick leave provision of the bill. It defined children eligible for care under the proposed law as a “biological, foster, or adopted child, a stepchild, a child of a domestic partner.”

The bill went on to further define a domestic partner as two individuals in a “committed relationship,” at least 18 years of age, in which each individual acts as the other’s sole domestic partner with shared responsibility for each others’ common welfare, including couples in same-sex domestic partnerships or same-sex unions.

At first I thought to myself I still couldn’t vote for Mitt in a head to head with one of those. Then I realized that’s exactly how the republicans think. They March in lock step to stay in power. But these two have not really supported the Dem agenda. I think there was a time, a long time ago, but not all that long ago, where senators and congressmen voted their conscience or their constituents needs over party. At least sometimes. It’s a sad state of affairs nowadays.
