and the puppet did nothing about it and republicans in congress ignored it or at least I don’t remember them doing or saying anything about it.

15. There is one reason why Putin might not have attacked Ukraine if Trump were still president

It doesn't have the slightest bit to do with Trump standing up to Putin, however.

Trump was helping Putin dismantle NATO. Tearing down NATO first would either have made attacking Ukraine later much easier, or it even could have made attacking Ukraine a moot point.

Someone with that kind of wit and insight turned loose in the current landscape? It's bound to turn up some pithy observations.

that none of these comments mention the reason we were there......As I understand it, Putin wanted to install Assad as dictator, Assad was using Russian supplied chemical weapons (poisonous gas) to drop on the resistance in Syrai (kurds) and our troops were there to protect the Kurds.
Putin basically had Trump withdraw our troops overnight, which allowed for no resistance to Assad to remain., Assad was like Trump, a Russian agent and cleared the way control of Syria by Russia...

I may be mistaken, but that is how I remember that period........I DO know for a fact that the UN/Hague inspectors found pieces of Russian Bombs with remnants of Poisonous Gasses, that were dropped on several villages.........
Of course the inspectors investigation immediately stopped when Trump withdrew our troops. Otherwise the UN/Hague would have soon prosecuted Assad and Putin for international war crimes..........convenient timing!
