I read Fox almost every day to see what BS the right-wingers are up to. Doesn't mean I have to adopt anything they say.
It's smart to understand the opposition so we can take it apart when confronted with the BS.

(1,787 posts)had no idea. Is it just that Fox links are banned for some reason?
I'm really only asking because I wouldn't want to get tripped up on that one.

(2,403 posts)I think they used to not like to have that type of propaganda showing up here.
ForgedCrank
(1,787 posts)completely understand that, especially if it were someone posting without context or anything.
I guess I need to go back and re-read the guidelines again because I missed this part somehow.

(2,403 posts)I just think it used to be more about focusing on out message and not getting distracted by their message.

(14,118 posts)Propaganda doesn't change the fact that them and their ever-dwindling base are and
always have been in the minority. I support Ukraine and will vote to send Fascists down
the drain.

But we must have an idea of the lies being told. Must know what the lies are as well as the positive and truthful side.

(15,325 posts)"Ukraine president warns of 'third world war'"
WRONG.
This is all on Putin.
PUTIN warns of 'third world war"
VLADIMER PUTIN
And Joe Biden can ride a bike if he damned well wants to.

(35,390 posts)If talks with Putin fail, then WWIII.
Most of the talk around this has the following assumptions, most of which are very charitable towards Putin.
1. Putin is cut off and believes lies and propaganda.
2. If Putin heard the truth, he'd realize he was inside an info bubble and might come around.
3. If he came around, most of the problem would be solved.
4. If he doesn't come around it means *Putin* created the irrealis bubble, so just put your legs between your legs and kiss your ass goodbye. Why?
5. Because the Ukraine Republic isn't eager to be the West's sacrifice at the alter of paranoid authoritarianism ... Again.
BYE, it's "Vladimir."
"Vlad-" means "rule." "Mir" = "world" or "peace". Most etymologies say "peace" but given current Russian, it's ambiguous.

They are what they are. I do like their choice of pictures -- these are full-screen size. Now, let's see tRump's ankles. On a bicycle quick, while it's still upright.
