giraffes have a family bond very similar to elephants. Like elephants, they protect
themselves and their young very well. It has to be a very hungry lion who will try to
attack an adult giraffe or the young when an adult is nearby since one well-aimed kick
has been known to outright kill a lion or other predator. Putin, are you listening?
