Hasn't gotten half the attention as Hunter's laptop by the MSM.
And given that Jared was the official Middle East Envoy, and Hunter a private citizen, it's that much more glaringly shameful.

Its where they think their sugar comes from, when the truth of that is debatable. Theres plenty of non-manufactured news out there these days.
This is the central reason the system has become as broken as it is.

It's scary that a job as important as the presidency has been turned into a shitshow by people who don't know what decency is. And that immediate gratification is part of the disease.
I wish some degree of etiquette and values was taught in schools since so many parents are too tired to parent, or don't know it themselves.

What's the serial # of that laptop? Has anyone checked with Apple to see who bought it

(991 posts)Now its only a crime if you sold the stolen loot.
For tfg that is.
If anyone else stole trucks full of whatever it would be a crime.
For precious tfg who everyone handles with kid gloves, nothing is a crime.
The biggest crime less crime wave in history.

(351 posts)In an unbroken America with an equal and fair legal system, the Feds. would have gone to his crappy Mar-A-Shithole with a warrant, taken the documents, arrested all involved, taken their passports, and held them in jail until their trials; just like they would have done to me if I had broken a national security law. Now, the whole system is beholden to the uber-riche (or their pretenders), and they just get to walk away until...whenever...usually until they can come up with some half-baked reason or excuse as to why they should never be bothered with the issue again. I so wish that I had left this country when I was young. Now, too old and stuck here with family issues. At least, maybe I'll be able to escape to a blue state before I die.

(59,503 posts)They STILL believe the story that Kushner led in more achievement on "Middle east peace" than occurred for decades. After all, he opened better relationships between Israel and multiple Arab countries (although NONE were at war with Israel) and he made the core problem (Israel/Palestine) far harder to resolve ... if not impossible.
People on the right will claim that THAT was why he condoned the murder of a journalist and gave more weapons to SA and UAE - not his own financial good.
(PS Obviously even if everything had been done for "good" reason, it is STILL NOT OK to financially benefit.)

(10,175 posts)People like the Koch Bros (who fund those insane Federalist Society idiots currently on the Supreme Court...oh no more floride) the Waltons (who run over people while drunk with no repurcussions and hate women especially the ones who control their own bodies) Bezos (who would turn his workers into slaves if he could get away with it) Musk (who never met a union he didn't hate and loves TFG) Gates (who met weekly with TFG and got himself a $10 million government contract for it)
And those are just off the top. I haven't gotten to Murdoch, the Gogel millionaires, Putin and the Saudis.
Why do the filthy rich hate the middle class so much? Because the rich want to rule the world and with a thriving middle class in a country it will never happen.
Anyway......these are the scum who own a pay for advertising on the corporate controlled media. So you get propaganda and stupidity but not much of anything else.
If Biden had cancelled all our pandemic response preparations right before a pandemic hit, that would be thrown in his face all the time by the media. But TFG gets to slap his anus shaped lips together constantly with no one ever asking him why.

(5,129 posts)'Filthy rich'. We can't have the poors thinking they can enter the gate of the country club now can we? Plus, those in a strong middle class are not as easily swayed by the whinging of the 'elite' and are not going to allow them to just ignore the damage they do. The peons are too oppressed to do anything about it. So, they want things to go back to 'one lord, one moat' and they will stop at nothing, including our society, to get and keep things that way.

The Saudis have a long history of legal bribery after the fact.
After senior administration officials leave an outgoing administration the Saudis use various legal avenues (mammoth speaking or book fees, like Reagan) in their retirement. All legal and declared.
It was no accident that Trump rushed to Saudi Arabia for his first foreign trip.
It appears that the Saudis don't want to give Jared a one time hit but keep him on a leash. They can cancel the arrangement anytime.

When the FBI looked at a copy of the hard drive, they could tell it was a bunch of crap because the Megadata showed that a lot of the information was installed just a year and half ago.... plus, Rudy says there is child porn on this hard drive, which means, he has been copying child porn and handing it out to all his friends.... A Felony!...... Anytime a MAGAet says something about Hunters Laptop... asked the if they ever seen it... a picture, a video, anything.... and their answer will be no.... because it doesn't exist!

(520 posts)Republicans being corrupt is so common it's not even news anymore. It's expected. Especially with Trump because he and his family are "businesspeople", they are expected to try to stay rich by any means possible, corrupt or not. If getting rich hurts the country, well that's just good business. Nothing to see here.
On the other hand the news media has been so trained by right-wing pundits and shows claiming everything democrats do, often completely made up, is a major scandal, that any wrong-doing attributed to Democrats must instantly become major news, or else the RW echo chamber will beat them to the punch and blare it everywhere so it in effect becomes THE news for a lot of Americans who are in their thrall.
