What Will Life In The U.S. Be Like If The Repugs Get Back In Power In 2022 & 2024?......

One way to maybe prevent the Repugs from getting back in power is to paint a picture for the American People as to what life will be like if they do get back in power.

How will things change in day to day American Life? What are the plans of the Repugs for us?

The Repugs are laying the groundwork now.

So I was hoping that DU'ers can post here - how our lives will change under a Repug regime beyond 2022.

Maybe if we can make those projections here and these projections are so objectionable and gross - it could influence the American Voters and prevent that from happening.

My gut tells me that day to day life in America will change drastically and that these changes will impact - even on those that support the Repugs now. My gut also tells me that these - now Repug supporters - won't like the changes either.

So - if we can make projections and paint that picture now - before these elections - maybe we can prevent that from happening - if we can get the word out now how untenable things will be under a Repug regime.

Please post your projections here - your responses - as to what things could look like beyond 2022 & 2024. I really don't think that many Americans - who always think that the grass is always greener on the other side - realize how much their lives will change if the Repugs come back in power.

We're seeing the drastic, draconian tactics the Repugs are putting in place in the Red States. They are still supporting the 'Big Lie'. We're seeing how they stacked the Judiciary. We're seeing what they are doing in Florida - with LGBTQ's; school books; Disney; etc. We're seeing the support they have for the J6 insurrection. We're seeing how SCOTUS is being manipulated by the likes of Ginnie Thomas. We're seeing how TFG is setting up office out of Mar-A-Lago and the influence he still maintains. We're seeing how they are ignoring the laws of the law and not being held accountable for their actions. We're seeing their hypocrisy and arrogance. We're seeing how the top 1%'ers are supporting the Repugs.

What is going to be the result of all of this and more that the Repugs are doing if they actually win and come to power again?

Right now - from what I'm seeing happening - I don't think I want to experience any future Repug regime. My gut tells me that most Americans feel the same.

1. Problem is that most GOP voters don't mind living in shit if that defeats Socialism or CRT or whatev

However, it remains to be seen if they'll continue to agree to living in shit once the bugaboo Liberal Agenda is destroyed and all they have to focus rage and hate on is themselves, their neighbors, and their kids.

The well off amongst them think they have enough money to avoid the fallout. See how fast one family can go through $500k a year if government regulations and spending goes away and Vulture Capitalist Corporations run everything.

5. I'm Betting That Most GOP Voters Are Ok With Their Lives As Is Now.....

only to change a few things that the Repugs seem to be playing to them now. Things that revolve around racism; LBGTQ rights; abortion; guns; etc - you know those explosive words that gets that crowd going.

Many GOP voters are one issue voters. They don't think about the big picture - only those issues that incite them the most. If their one issue gets solved for them - things will be peachy keeny. They are not thinking about what else the Repug Party has in store for them.

The Repugs - really don't tell them what their platform is. It is those things that I'm trying to get to here. What aren't the Repugs telling their average American GOP supporters - that will really change their lives for the worst - if they retain power again.

Will GOP voters/supporters really like to live under an 'authoritarian' regime? Will they be happy with a Putin-like power in the WH? I don't think they realize what they could be getting themselves into - by supporting the Repugs. Do they really want to go back in time to a nation that doesn't give them the life that they've come to enjoy now? The freedoms that they have that could be taken away from them because they are unsuspecting as to where the Repugs want to take this nation?

That's the things I'd like to come out here in a post like this.

Again - paint a realistic picture of where the Repug Party wants to take this nation.

Spell out those changes and show them how their lives will change along with all of us - if the Repugs get back in power.

We all know that where the Repug Party wants to take us will effect all of us. Just because you are a GOP supporter now - doesn't mean that you are immune from the life the Rupugs want for you under their control.

The Repugs are taking us to a place where few will flourish and have a good life and the rest of us will be suffering. It's those GOP supporters - now - that I'd like to open up their eyes for what they may be getting themselves into.

Again - if you were to project what this country will look like in 2028 - post that here.

We have to open the eyes of the 'Now' GOP supporters and get them to realize how they are actually shooting themselves in their foot. We have to change them from voting for the GOP. We have to convince enough of them to make sure that the Dems retain and enhance their base - lest we lose our democracy.

2. Then primary Republicans instead of Democrats.

Stop splitting the only Party that has ever held the line against authoritarian one-party rule.

Support the Democratic Party or gtfo.
STOP assisting Republucans in their elections.

3. Scorched Earth - Complete collapse of public education, health care and justice system.

Schools will be repurposed for orphanages/child labor and proper indoctrination. Think Native American boarding schools only including military training and fortified by the best drugs the CIA can offer.
Contraception and home pregnancy test kits will be illegal. Dr.s will be required to report pregnant women for removal to birthing camps, women found to have had previous miscarriages or abortions will be scheduled for execution.
County by county, LEO will pull out their list of big donors and give them badges. (LEO commanders in OK, SC, FL and MI have already stated they would do this during the "BLM and ANTIFA riots". No oversight will be given.
Pardons for any criminals who swear obedience to the new leaders. Televised public executions for those remaining, Democratic leaders and those deemed unsuitable for public life (minorities, handicapped, LGBTQ, the elderly).

4. Kleptocracy, oligarchy, states' rights...

I think they'd really like to implement the Putin model with rigged elections guaranteeing their "rule" in perpetuity without accountability. The red states appear to be working on that now. The "business party" likes the (autocratic) corporate model with a strongman and a board of directors having full control--much like the Putin or Chinese communist model.

Their current smears of public education over "CRT," etc., could be laying the groundwork for future privatization--forcing everyone into a profit-driven education system. Money Money Money Money, Money Money Money Money.

During TFG's shipwreck I halfway expected some expansion of slavery beyond prison labor. States' rights! States' rights!

More "Handmaid" subjugation.

That's the picture that I'd like to paint for the current GOP supporters. Then I'd like to ask them - is this the USA you want to live in? Is this the USA you want for your children and grandchildren?

If we open the eyes to the future of some of these current GOP supporters - we still have a chance to retain our democracy and current way of life.

Hell maybe - we can even make it better.

Come-on fellow DU'ers - help open up their eyes to the future they are destining us to - if they vote for the Repugs.
