They care only about low taxes. They are willing to let the MAGATs ruin America as long as they don't have to pay their fair share.

You'd think the bulk of the mainstream republican party of old would've affiliated themselves with groups like the LP, but no, they've just disappeared.

It's kind of shameful they've just let right wing, white supremacist, Putin loving, anti-democracy a-holes take over their party without even a whimper.

A dog and bark yourself.

They have plenty of thuggish foot soldiers to carry out their agenda without getting their own hands dirty.

Who were members of the country club. Now when you talk with them they don’t want to talk politics. I worked years ago with guys like that and see them on FB sometimes. They don’t want to talk politics.

Snobby and exclusive, back then.

What do they talk about now when they get together?

Hobbies, I guess. Certainly have nothing much in common with MAGA base.

This is how Republicans explained away Nixon, then. How would it compare to questions asked of Republicans today, about Trump?

They sit in their corners, applaud when prompted and lick the crumbs from tfg’s floor with a smile. Nary a word of criticism or they might get beheaded.

As long as it keeps them from getting taxed.

There are a few who may even choose not to participate in the GOP, but given the amount of media pushing GOP insanity, most of those elites must be just fine with it.

To hell with society and our offspring.

…Parenthood as a charitable cause the way a lot of them did. Right up until he threw PP under the bus when he got a brimstone whiff of the culture wars. Then his son Dubya, who had seen the light of the Talibaptists in Texas, ran the bus back and forth over PP for good measure.

Mitt Romney may be the last of the good breed, and he’s a Mormon, not a WASP.

Racist at core.

And everything that they said was sacred is not, to them.
Not flag, not separation of powers, not rule of law, not equal justice, not even the spilled blood of our GIs. That was all a lie.
