"America is not a Socialist country" Winchester Star Opinions LTTE/Open Forum

Readers of the Winchester Star are not letting propaganda go unanswered. This is in response to the usual FOX/TOX talking points, today. Such responses should be happening in newspapers across the country. As Malcolm Nance has said, "I'm done with talking."

Excerpt

"Here is what Americans should fear: Republican efforts to diminish voter rights, ban books about sexuality or marginalized communities, end women’s reproductive rights, and prohibit trans and gay rights and medical care in states such as Texas, Florida, Iowa, Oklahoma, Kentucky and elsewhere. There’s an education tip line in Virginia to make parents the “eyes and spies” for the state to turn in teachers whom they think are engaging in “divisive practices.” Texas has a law that pays bounties to anyone who assists a pregnant woman obtain an abortion, even though abortion remains a protected right in this country. The Florida governor is threatening Disney, a pivotal business to the state’s economy, because it opposes his “Don’t Say Gay Bill.” These are signs of government overreach among many in the Republican party and borders on totalitarianism, a form of government that seeks to assert total control over the lives of its citizens."

This is definitely true. Why then the constant whining about their 'freedoms'?

I'm sick to death of under-educated, under-informed thugs thinking they can bend the majority of reasonable people to their demands.

whilst losses are so often socialised onto the backs of the bottom 99.9% by the systemic controllers.

Bailouts for me, not for thee.

Then, when anything comes up that would help fix the insane wealth inequality, the massive corporate takers scream Socialism!!!, the thug RW voters scream COMMUNISM!, and the obstructionist wreckers in our Party say 'BIPARTISANSHIP is a must!!!! We cannot afford such things!!' (of course they leave out: other than the spoils of economic exploitative war and empire for the command and control pyramidion).'

you can fail...unless you are "too big to fail" and then the gov't bails you out..
I also think of the VA medical centers and Health systems for the military... Soldiers, sailors and airmen don't pay for treatment.. Funded by tax dollars.
Socialist? There are probably more examples but I can't think of them now.. Need a second cup of coffee...
