"you're making a big deal about this" will be said a LOT about QAnon-style politicians, white nationalism, rehashes of Satanic Ritual Abuse, Republicans outright saying poor pregant women are little more than chattel, excuses for Trump corruption, homophobia, transphobia, Islamophobia, and crazy conspiracy theories over the next two years... so much that it will have an echo.
But: If you have to be "weird" about then be weird about it and never shut up. That's for sure.

(35,077 posts)I am confident that we will be seeing more gaslighting and what-have-you in the next 2 years than in the entire Trump administration.
Were going to take a bad hit - scientifically, art, culturally, socially, and more. There is this right-wing Trumpian pastor, Greg Locke I think, who said there are witches in his congregation and I honestly think we will see more accusations of that in the mainstream, we will see scientific racism, and claptrap like conversion therapy and trickle-down economics forced down our throats. Even if we keep Congress, this will still happen.
