He worked for 25 years for The Carlyle Group. The only textbook that will be used for Florida is printed by one of their divisions. Because those math textbooks printed in Texas might be too woke. Guess who will major profit from that? That's right, Glenn Youngkin. (Remember George HW Bush and Carlyle Group?)

Glenn Youngkin, Gregg Abbott, and several other Republican governors are following DeSantis lead on the culture wars with these voter suppression, don't say gay, abortion laws, attacks on public schools. Not only do they protect their "conservative" flank with the culture war, what else is happening? States Rights overriding Federal authority at least until there is another Repub President, and just like the last one, follow the money. When Disney donated to DeSantis they were best friends, when Disney got shamed into doing the right thing on "Don't Say Gay/Right to Bully, Demonize, and Terrorize Gay Teenagers" and stopped funding Repubs, DeSantis has made war on the Mouse House. The biggest employer in Florida.

Remember when Republicans were free market capitalists who did not like government picking and choosing winners and losers? If Florida really cared about "groomers" would Mark Foley be making a comeback and Matt Gaetz still be their Congressman? DeSantis is out trumping Trump. He is bringing the fascism and other Repub Governors are taking note and following. Trump never was anything but a Putin style autocratic kleptocratic racketeer, and what a surprise, neither is DeSantis. Always follow the money.
