Judge OKs lawsuit that could disqualify Marjorie Taylor Greene and she melts down

“I have to go to court on Friday and actually be questioned about something I’ve never been charged with,” said Republican Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene in an interview this week after a judge rejected her attempt to prevent a lawsuit that may disqualify her from running for reelection.

“This is how far it’s going,” she told Fox News host Tucker Carlson. “These progressives, these leftists…they’d rather have the judge or bureaucrats making decisions instead of voters.”

“In accordance with Georgia law, the voters are asking Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger to rule on whether Greene’s actions disqualify her candidacy,” through the suit, according to MSNBC.

A Texas-based group called Free Speech for the People first filed a suit against Greene for her remarks regarding the Jan. 6 Capitol riot, which was fueled by unfounded claims of election fraud pushed by former President Donald Trump and other Republicans. The suit alleges that Greene seemingly encouraged political violence and violate the 14th Amendment by engaging in an insurrection.

Let's be clear about what tomorrow IS and IS NOT.

It IS NOT a Hearing about whether MTG participated in an insurrection. She has not been charged with such a crime.

It IS a Hearing about whether the Georgia Election authorities have the right to remove her under the 14th Amendment.

Zero chance they take her off the ballot since she hasn’t been indicted or convicted of any crime they are claiming as a basis for such action.

Methinks it's not "progressives" or "leftists" trying to use the judge or bureaucrats to dedide elections:

After the 2020 United States presidential election, the campaign for incumbent President Donald Trump and others filed and lost at least 63 lawsuits contesting election processes, vote counting, and the vote certification process in multiple states, including Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.
