None of These Candidate Disqualifying Things Will Work.

They just won't. Unless the person actively participated in the January 6 insurrection at the Capitol, that person can say, "No, I wasn't involved," and they won't get disqualified.

However, in every case, it is potent campaign fodder for Democratic opponents. Put their photo on billboards and tell the truth about them. Quote them on those billboards from their statements encouraging the insurrectionists. That won't do a thing for the hard-core Trumpers, but it could influence others. Any candidate who doesn't use this stuff to fight against these GQP creeps will be missing a solid strategy.

even if they don’t win in the district.

Every statewide constitutional office in Georgia (including the gubernatorial race), Senator Warnock’s senate seat, congressional races, plus all of our state senators and representatives are on the ballot in 2022.

As James Carville famously said regarding Democrats who run multiple losing campaigns before eventually winning elected office: “You’re a loser until you’re not.”

She'll still win, but anyone that wins that district will be just as bad.

In some cases it's better to have the issue that the victory.

But, nothing says "democracy" like preventing people from voting.
