The Ever Forward cargo ship that spent a month aground in the Chesapeake Bay just made that turn it missed a month ago. It was reloaded and now making 13 knots just south of the turn. The next obstacle is the Chesapeake Bay Bridge.

(17,444 posts)A sister ship to the one that blocked the Panama Canal. This one caused traffic in the channel to Baltimore to be reduced to one way traffic and stopped during some of the salvage efforts. It took a month to refloat and cost a lot. My post is recognizing the unwinding of a situation that some found significant.
