The revelations regarding Jan 6th show that the Republican leadership in Congresss thought that the

attack on the capitol was going to be devastating to them politically.

The Democrats have been hurt by the violence connected to BLM protests , but the Republicans do not seem to be hurt much by the violence at the Capitol. The obvious explanation is racism. The right wing media continuously fanned the flames on it.

We still have the hearings coming up where people will see the depth of the involvement by the administration and members of congress.
