Have all those husbands try on their wives' bras. None of the men's breasts will ever be able (I hope for them! ) to fill those bras. The tasks of a woman are of a nature that most men will never be able to complete them during the course of a day. So, there you have it. Women run the show, there is no use in denying it. 31. Decades ago while on a trip I attended a Mother's Day service at a Lutheran Church...

It was lovely, actually. The minister read passages from (I think it was) Proverbs, the ones that start off saying a good wife is worth more than rubies. Right there was the description of a woman who was a skilled farmer (olives and vineyards) and a canny businesswoman, someone interacting with the world beyond husband and babies, and increasing the economic security of her family.

Kind of like reading for the first time that the Prophet Muhammed married a woman who had her own business. Women who today live in regressive societies and find themselves in burqas — that was not the original intent.

“Patriarchy” and deliberate misreading of the Bible are poisonous.
