The fact this happened 52 Years ago, and gun violence has gotten Significantly worse, not better, tells you exactly why America will NEVER EVER be rid of it's gun & mass shooting problem.

I was a senior in high school sitting in AP government class. Our highly respected and admired teacher announced the news of what had just happened at Kent State. The entire class was horrified and stunned. Most of us in the class were off to college in a few months. We identified with the students.

Had just crossed into Ohio from Indiana and I got picked up by the cops. I had no idea what was going on, but had long hair and a guitar.
