Elon Musk thinks, says, or tweets? "Supports him?" WTF does that even mean? I don't own, nor have the money to buy a Tesla. I drive a 14 year old Subaru that runs great and has 100,000 miles on it. How does one "support" Elon Musk? He's going to vote "Republican?" Hey- so what? His vote means as much as mine does in the long run.
Am I the only one that sees the value of increasing social programs such as student loan forgiveness, and shoring up our existing programs?
This country is in crisis mode- and DUers are arguing about some weird billionaire they are never even going to meet?

(21,110 posts)Have you forgotten we live in a country where there are minions who vote the same as someone they admire or who has "exposure"? And why do you care what DUers are arguing about? It's easy to skip a post.
Thtwudbeme
(7,737 posts)I have "skipped" more posts than you'll ever read.
Fuck- I MARRIED a guy I met on DU.
I hope that helps.

Minions is a perfect description for 'someone who'd vote some way just cause they idolize some jerk billionaire and they want to vote just like him'.
Like, literally perfect.

"We are outraged!"
"Told you."
A billionaire trolls Twitter because he thinks it's funny. He clearly has the best of times with it.
And people keep obliging him.
Like, the guy is actively standing there blatantly telling them he's toying with them for his own personal entertainment, and people keep giving it to him.
At this point, who's zooming who?
I do think it's all kind of hilarious though. I don't care what Elon Musk thinks about anything. But funny is funny. Fair play. The man could power a small city with the twitterstorms he sets off. Mining bitcoin uses less heat.

(5,164 posts)I guess we need to follow on some level the crap he is spewing out etc.
But I do not read tweets from him or anyone else on twitter unless they happen to be posted here or mentioned on the news.
As far as I am concerned he is crazy, a fascist and some sort of con artist. And I also do not have the money to buy a Tesla and drive an older car than you which I like quite a bit. Even if I had the money I would not buy anything he made for sure, lol.
jfc please do not let him put dumpster back on twitter. I nearly lost my sanity having to listen to that pschyo's non stop crap as much as I tried to avoid it. And we still can't get away from him. It is like invasion of the body snatchers or something.
