A mother of a student at Robb Elementary School is recounting the aftermath of a horrific shooting that left 21 people -- 19 students, a teacher, and an adult -- dead.

1. i always think / imagine how i would be handling things if my kid was young and still in school

i don't think i would handle it very well (understatement)
it would drive me crazy sending her off to school every day

and if this happened at her school i would lose my fucking mind

my heart is broken for those parents who lost their children--and for those children

i hate that this happens
i hate that our country has allowed this to go on
i hate republican politicians
i detest the selfish and/or ignorant who vote for them

3. I don't know what I would do. I believe in public school. I don't believe in home-schooling.

And the latter is not even an option for most families and certainly not if they want their child to get a broad-based education sufficient for college and when parents work.

This all just goes along with the horrific plans of RW to destroy public schools. They don't care if the non-rich get an education or not--in fact they prefer that they DON'T.
