with a shorter recent one while I adjusted to being too blind to edit my posts properly.

Take what you need, long walks, good music, good friends, good food. Recharge your batteries so you can keep fighting the good fight.

If you’re really putting time, energy, dedication, vigilance, heart, digging below the surface, and all self-motivated, that really can run you ragged. Mentally, emotionally, and physically!

Take the time you need, and it will be helpful, restful, and restorative. Be good to yourself. You deserve it!

If you are so inclined, go start a garden. Not only is it restorative, it may help if there are food shortages.

The news is bad enough. Some posts on DU just make it worse.

You cast your verbal pearls before swine, and the swine just spread their poop all over them.

A famous Admiral once said . . . . 'A battle half fought is a battle half won. But you got to come back and continue!'.
(Horatio Nelson, posting on his Facebook page, after the Battle of the Nile, 1797.)
