I am over 108 degrees.


At 10:30 it is getting hot.

Never gets that hot, but we get lots of humidity.

I stay up all night and get out early.

By 10:30 I am done with my chores...

I also have a good headlamp.

7. Blessings on Summer Solstice.

The sun will seem to stand still for a few days. It is the high tide of the Solar year. Then we begin the long fall back to shorter days and the blessings of cooler temperatures. I live in a part of the country that has had an unusually wet and cool spring. I am loving it! Not looking forward to the coming heat. The local weather service is forecasting a possible first 90 degree day later in the week. Ugh! I hate summer too, Texaswitchy. After the wonderful mild weather that we have had, 90 degrees will be a nasty shock. Looking forward to Fall Equinox and then to Samhain.

9. I sleep away the heat.

I am thankful for AC.

We have more then enough solar and wind turbines.

We have a small house and small cabins.

Today was really hot.

The chickens disappeared under the house early.

At night it is much better.

8. Happy that things will gradually go back to normal from now, dark.

Have been enjoying a very cool spring, no heat waves yet.
