in order to avert a repeat in 2024
those responsible for this coup attempt should be punished. It looks very likely that the DOJ is moving to indict several of them like Clark whose house was just raided by the fbi, Eastman, probably Rudy and a few of the prominent people in the fake elector scheme.
I am hoping they get to Trump himself. However if they don't, do you guys think that all the other prosecutions will have enough of a chilling effect to convince people not to go along with similar bullshit in 2024 lest they end up in jail ?

1. As far as I'm concerned,
they all need to be in jail when the next two presidential elections happen. That includes everyone who crossed police barricades on January 6th.

2. No, the GOP is a cult.
Although some Repubicans are telling their story, only after being investigated by the Jan 6 committee, trump and his co-conspirators should have been indicted after the transfer of power. The DOJ knew what was going on.

4. I'm so sick and tired of people accepting that Trump being exempted from prosecution is okay if they
manage to nail a scapegoat or two. He fucking started it, caused it and clearly broke the fucking law. Nothing short of his fat ass going to jail will ever satisfy me.

5. I don't accept it.
however if that does happen I am hoping that all the other prosecutions will deter people from screwing with the elections.
