Now that the GOP has gotten its wish, thanks to its lackeys on the Court...

….can we now expect to see serious consideration of legislation concerning health care, child care, early childhood education, maternal leave policies, liveable wages, and child support, as well as any other issue/crisis that many women will now have to face?

All the GOP lawmakers in my state, Indiana, are cheering Roe’s overturning (sickeningly so), while ignoring the stark fact that this state ranks as one of the WORST in the nation in maternal and infant mortality. It’s very true that at least here, “pro-life” stops at the delivery room.

We must press these issues and vote in November as if our lives depended on it — especially those of us who are past the age of this directly affecting us. We owe it to our daughters and granddaughters who will now not only have no access to a right many of us exercised, but also NO autonomy over their own bodies and health care decisions.

The Court (and GOP) can’t just break this precedent and walk away, dusting off their hands. Accountability and responsibility must be had.

They have said they want to turn it back to the states but they want to ban it nationwide. We cannot believe that we have some states that are safe from this rampage. Here’s Chuck Todd on TV saying, well some states don’t have to worry about it, so that won’t drive voter turn out. We all have to worry about it, what a dickhead he is!
