Supposedly, the overruling of Roe v. Wade will not curtail abortions for those with money and means.

However, that does NOT mean that they cannot be subject to the red state penalties for having one. In today's world, there are so many ways to keep watch on the citizenry. Maybe when the 1% and their daughters and nieces are prosecuted, things may not be so wonderful in the pro-life world.

1. When have the 1% been subject to penalties for anything

other than screwing over other rich white people?

2. This bullshit with overturning Roe may find that some people with techie skill may start snooping

and reporting the 1%er females. Look at the states that give rewards for abortion bounty hunters. Money motivates people and so does getting someone who thinks that the law does not apply to them.

5. Having practiced law for many, many years, money motivates people to rat on others.

Also: It's not just money. People use information on others to lessen civil and criminal penalties for themselves.

4. The 1% will never be prosecuted for getting an abortion.

They will be flown out of the country if need be.

Or their private doctor will take care of things quietly.

Or their huge team of expensive lawyers will tie things up in court for years.

6. I am a retired lawyer and if someone wants to get your client...

...they eventually will. Maybe not today, maybe not next week, but eventually.

Private MDs have staff that rat not only the MD out, but the patient. Maybe the 1% are not the people we hear about and see all the time, but there are people who get want to get even with someone for some reason and with the abortion bounty...money does motivate as well as someone who has treated people they look down on badly and there is most certainly revenge involved.

7. The wealthy can fly overseas, no one will know.

Money buys a lot of privacy.

Most people don't have enough money to go after the 1%.
Or they are strongly discouraged from continuing their revenge.
