Fox Reporter Thinks "Mars Wobbles" May Be Causing Climate Change On Earth
From the November 1 edition of Fox Business' Varney & Co.: I watched the video and just lost 30 IQ points she also quotes Lehman Brothers........ http://mediamatters.org/video/2012/11/01/fox-reporter-thinks-mars-wobbles-may-be-causing/191054 Raw story has the story too without the video http://www.rawstory.com/rs/2012/11/01/fox-business-reporter-mars-wobbles-could-be-causing-climate-change/

5. Astrology now? At least no animals were killed to get a reading from their entrails.
How do they keep their FCC license? Isn't there a community service clause or something?

There is a silver lining in this turd - admission of a problem. The first step, so to speak.

14. Well, that's plausible.
Because unlike the moon, Mars is made of red cheese, not green. And everyone knows what happens when you put red and green cheese on the same plate.
Or something. (facepalm) |

20. Fucking unbelievable . . .
Jupiter's gravity is the source of Earth's long-term orbital eccentricity, and its diameter is about 22X the size of Mars, so what dead animal's ASS did they pull this "factoid" out of?

24. They saw someone discussing climate change *on Mars*
It's been a recurrent 'fact' from man-made climate change deniers that Mars' polar caps are getting smaller (I don't even know how true that is); and they claim this means there must be solar variation causing both this and climate change on Earth. If you look at the rawstory article, you see that an Oxford University lecturer has suggested that Mars' greater axis wobble (not having a decent sized moon to stabilise it) might mean significant growth and melting of the caps. Which is believable in concept, whether or not it works out in practice.
So this mushhead has seen someone saying "perhaps the Mars polar caps are melting because of its wobble", and then thought this means someone thinks that is causing it on Earth too. ![]() |
