Isn't treason WTF is. Why even have a treason law on the books!

It is treason in the common usage of the word, but not by the legal definition in the Constitution.

(3,479 posts)I looked into it further, also found the penalties for treason are 5ys ,$10,000 fine. I thought it was quite a bit more severe.
