Barring Trump from running again should be a campaign issue this election

The 14 Amendment gives congress the power to bar someone from running for office. The Democrats should make barring Trump from running for office again a campaign issue. I think there’s enough support for some kind of accountability that this issue could gain traction with people.

Then it doesn't matter because its a legal question and not a political one. And I am sure that when it goes before the courts, the morons that represent TFG will argue that he can't be stopped from running because he hasn't been convicted, and they most likely will win.

to unilaterally declare someone guilty of sedition or insurrection. It will take a criminal conviction to invoke that clause of the 14th amendment.
