Personal attacks on two vulnerable Democratic senators are falling flat because of their likability:

Republican strategists have discovered a problem: Personal attacks on two of the most vulnerable Democratic senators are falling flat because of their likability.

Sen. Raphael Warnock (D-Ga.) is the pastor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s Ebenezer Baptist Church.

Sen. Mark Kelly (D-Ariz.) is a former astronaut and the husband of former Rep. Gabby Giffords, a gun control activist who survived an assassination attempt in 2011.

Why it matters: In a broadly unfavorable national environment for Democrats, control of the Senate may rest on a pair of incumbents with two of the most compelling backstories in politics.

Add another 8mm voters to Biden's totals from 2020. Take away 2mm from Trumps 2020 loss. Aren't enough young voters to staunch the blood letting.

Polls in the Georgia race are all over the place. This seat is not safe. People need to realize — here in Ga., we have a great many Republicans who would be perfectly happy with Brian Kemp, Donald Trump, and Herschel Walker representing them.

That being said, it’s also true that Walker has a lot of negatives, especially with women and the less-loony Republicans. This is why there we see so few ads boosting Walker, but a ton attacking Warnock. (Plus, the anti-Warnock ads can be bankrolled by super-PAC and Dark money with no need to account for campaign spending.)

We’re in a pretty good place, but Georgia is still far from being a Blue state. Not trying to be a party pooper, just a realist who knows how much work we have to do over the next four months.

Scary black man didn’t work last time. The 2 ads that get played most will not convince anyone to not vote for him. One blames President Biden for inflation and it’s also Senator Warnock’s fault because he voted with Biden. The other one says he is supported by AARP who is supposed to be corrupt I guess.

In a sane world the environment would be deeply and vroadly unfavorable to a Republican Party captive to Trumpian Big Lies, violent insurrection, oppression of women, and serious threats to our democracy.

He still preaches on Sundays at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta, where he’s the senior pastor.

He’s incredibly friendly, outgoing, appealing, hardworking, intelligent and kind. He has an amazing resume and a compelling life story. Plus, he loves puppies! 🐶 💛 🐶

Both Senator Warnock and Senator Ossoff are working incredibly hard both in Washington and back here in Georgia to help the people of Georgia. They are frequently here traveling all across the state, which is a big job because Georgia is the largest state east of the Mississippi River.

I can see some Republicans voting for Warnock & KKKemp or just skipping the senate race in Nov.22.

Black Georgians are not going to vote for Walker.
