If it is DOJ policy to appear non-political, what will Merrick Garland do?
That mobbed-up orange asshole has never been held accountable for any of his crimes. I hope the DOJ doesn't let him skate again.

(26,268 posts)I don't care if he is a former guy. He's not yet nominated. Not sure why he'd have any special rights.
This guy has wormed his way though life, squirming out of pretty much every serious consequence. I want to see him slammed to the floor.

(13,424 posts)I personally have long believed that Garland will give a wide berth to any Presidents actions while they are/were in office. I thought preserving/protecting the office was his utmost priority.
That being said, he will be under immense pressure to start indicting and arresting the powerful people tied to the insurrection, including TFG.
I am still inclined to believe Garland will not go after TFG; but he will likely pursue everyone else involved. I would say there is maybe a 40% chance that he will try to take down TFG himself.
